First off I wanted to thank both of you for everything over the past few weeks. I absolutely love the condo and am very excited to start moving in. It really is the perfect home for me at this stage in my life. You both went out of your way to make this whole process as easy as possible for me and I really do appreciate it. I had absolutely no idea I could afford a condo, much less for $150 less a month then I was spending on my apartment! Kevin you were absolutely right when you told me that when you rent a place you are essentially throwing your money away. I spent approximately $8500 over the past year on my lease and have absolutely nothing to show for it once my lease is up. I know very little about real estate but I learned quite a bit through this process. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking to purchasing a home to talk to you guys. Also for someone like me who doesn’t have a real extensive credit history getting the loan through your company was a very smooth process. Again I can’t thank the two of you enough for all of your help it really means a lot.

Dear Kevin and Lori,

We cannot express our appreciation, for what you have done for us adequately. Never, did we think that we could have the opportunity you gave us. We were planning on renting a house, until we met you. You gave us a second chance at homeownership. We bought our house a little over 5 years ago. With a daughter, and a baby on the way, it was time to get out of our apartment, and into a house. Being first time home buyers, was wonderful. Then, after a couple years, our payments began to go up. Then up and up, every year more and more. Before we knew it our payments went from $777 to $1056. And the value of our house went from $111,000 to $42,000.

Now, we have yet another baby on the way, we knew this payment was out of our budget. To try to keep the payment down we used the house payment money for the month and payed the escrow shortage. After, they sent us our new payment coupons with the high mortgage payment anyways. Well, this was because our mortgage had been prorated and we had to pay for the following year also. Nedless to say, we had to let our house go. After that, no bank would give us a chance to purchase another home.

Without your assistance, we would be waisting our money renting a house. Bank free financing is giving us another chance at homeownership. With that we convey our gratitude.

Dear Kevin,

My wife and I would like to thank you for the financing on this beautiful home. We have been trying for more than two years to buy a home and get our three kids out of a declining neighborhood but not one of the dozens of banks and lenders I applied with would help us. Not one single person I spoke with over two years would give us a second chance or even ask why my credit was no good.

When September 11 happened I was a sergeant in the Army National Guard and was called into active duty. We had just put our house up for sale but my income was cut by more than two thirds. I stayed on active duty for more than three years until I was injured during pre-deployment training. Than put an end to my 12 years of service and my ability to do the only job I had ever done as a civilian. That is the reason for the poor credit and even though I have a good job now with a solid income not one mortgage lender would help, that is until we met you.

You have given us back that American Dream I have fought for and my family sacrificed so much for.

You met with us and made us feel like a part of your family. As a matter of fact we even met your family and you met ours. You took a lot of time to make sure we understood everything and were comfortable with everything. You even taught us a few things financially.

When you were painting the house and doing other things to get it ready we were welcomed in to help clean and do other things as well. We were all a part of it and worked together. The best part about it is that your family and friends were there to help too. They got nothing out of it other than their great feeling of helping another family and still everyone was very friendly.

Dear Lori,

I wanted to take the time to write you a note to thank you for all that you have done for myself and my three daughters. A year ago this time, I was laid off from my job and all hopes of ever owning a home seemed lost. I lost almost everything due to this layoff. My credit suffered and all hope seemed to be lost for me. I took a job making $20,000.00 less a year in order to be able to take care of my children. Just when I thought all was so totally lost I was offered a job making more than I had at my previous job that laid me off. I moved back to Michigan and began my look to rent a home because I knew my credit would not warrant owning one at this time. .

I looked in the paper that morning and was drawn to your ad. The idea of owning a home? Wow, could I really be able to have this dream? I prayed on it and asked god to give me direction.
